Pit stop challenge team changing tyres on replica racing car during corporate away day

Pit Stop Challenge

A replica racing car, a tyre change against the clock, and a team that has to coordinate under pressure to beat it. The pit stop challenge is the competitive centrepiece of r.a.c.e. It maps directly to execution under pressure, clear communication, and accountability for a defined role. It’s also, genuinely, a lot of fun, which matters when you want people to be present and invested.

Simulator Racing

Immersive simulator racing with real telemetry, giving each participant an experience that reflects their own decisions and performance back at them. The data doesn’t lie, which makes it a useful mirror for how people approach pressure, risk, and competition. It also gives everyone something specific to talk about in the sessions that follow.

Pit Wall Strategy

Teams analyse data and make performance decisions together, under time pressure, with a result attached to the quality of their thinking. The strategy sessions are where the lessons from the physical challenges start to translate into behaviours that actually matter in a business context: how decisions get made, who defers and who doesn’t, and what happens when the data says something uncomfortable.

Driver Performance

Teams respond to rapidly changing challenges and make split-second decisions together, under time pressure, with outcomes directly linked to the speed and clarity of their thinking. The reaction challenge is where instinct meets awareness, testing reaction speed, cognitive capacity, and focus while revealing how individuals and teams process information in real time. It highlights how people react under pressure, who hesitates or takes the lead.

What is r.a.c.e?

R.A.C.E is a motorsport team building experience from Events House. Built on the framework of elite motorsport, it uses high-pressure environments, clearly defined roles, and real consequences to reveal how your team actually operates under pressure. Unlike a standard away day, R.A.C.E generates real behavioural data, surfacing how decisions get made, who leads when it counts, and where the genuine gaps in your team's performance are. No motorsport knowledge required.

+

Who is it for?

R.A.C.E is designed for corporate teams, leadership groups, and organisations who want genuine outcomes, not just a memorable day out. It works particularly well as a corporate away day for leadership teams, a senior leadership or executive offsite, or as a smarter alternative to a corporate track day. Group sizes run from 12 to 120+ participants, making it suitable for small C-suite teams and large divisional events alike. No motorsport experience needed.

+

What makes it unique?

Most team building days are forgotten by Monday. R.A.C.E is different because the pressure is genuine. A replica racing car, real Pirelli tyres, high-spec Fanatec simulators, and a countdown clock are the conditions that make behavioural data meaningful. What makes R.A.C.E unique is the combination of real motorsport hardware, structured challenges that map directly to business behaviours, and a data-driven debrief that gives you something concrete to work with afterwards. It's the only motorsport team building experience that pairs this level of immersion with a structured performance debrief.

+

How is r.a.c.e different from a corporate track day?

A corporate track day gives your team a shared experience and a good day out. R.A.C.E gives you that, plus something a track day can't: genuine insight into how your team performs under pressure. Where a track day is largely passive, R.A.C.E is active. Every participant has a defined role, every challenge has a result, and the debrief gives you real data on communication, leadership, and decision-making. It's the motorsport energy of a track day combined with the behavioural rigour of a structured development programme. Pricing starts from £150 per person.

+

Where does r.a.c.e take place?

R.A.C.E can come to you or we can recommend a venue. The full experience is self-contained, with all hardware including the replica racing car, simulators, and pit crew equipment provided. We've delivered R.A.C.E at corporate headquarters, conference venues, outdoor spaces, and dedicated event facilities across the UK and internationally. If you need help sourcing a venue, the Events House team can support with that too. Get in touch to discuss options for your group.
